Lindsey’s winning formula combines Longève Original Plant-based Protein Crumbles with robust spices and common pantry ingredients to create a hearty and satisfying burger patty that’s quick and easy to prepare. We’ve adapted her recipe to incorporate vital wheat gluten flour which gives the patty an appealingly toothsome texture, but feel free to use regular all-purpose flour instead. Serve these tasty patties with all your favorite fixings – we like piles of crisp leaf lettuce, sweet summer tomatoes and a blanket of melted cheese. Lindsey recommends Follow Your Heart’s Smoked Gouda slices and we couldn’t agree more! And while we’re at it, we might also suggest whipping up a piquant Pimènton Aioli using Follow Your Heart’s Original Vegenaise to take your burger to the next level. Simply mix ¼ cup Original Vegenaise with ½ teaspoon hot or sweet smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon red wine vinegar 1 small clove of garlic, grated and a pinch of salt. Apply liberally to your Longève Better Burger and enjoy!
