2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce (vegetarian: Lord Sandy's)
1 tsp. soy sauce or gluten-free tamari
1 tsp. sugar, brown sugar, or coconut palm sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 cup Longève Original Plant-based Protein Crumbles
Instructions
Combine water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, coconut sugar and garlic powder in small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk to dissolve sugar while bringing just to the boil.
Remove pan from heat and add protein crumbles. Mix well to ensure crumbles are completely saturated.
Let sit for five minutes to rehydrate fully.
For best taste, pan-fry rehydrated crumbles for 2-3 minutes in 1 Tbsp. of vegetable oil before enjoying as is, or in your favorite recipes.
